Meet Our Pastors

Glen Molloy

Glen Molloy

Senior Pastor

I’ve been a pastor at PBC since 2015, and it’s been a wonderful opportunity for me to serve in this capacity. I love working in this community, God is doing amazing things in bringing life to his people. I am deeply passionate about journeying with people as they discover their God giving purpose in life. I too have discovered my purpose in life by stepping into this role as pastor. I have had a mix of corporate roles in business development and corporate sales in the energy industry, to serving for 5 years on the mission field in India working with women who have been trafficked and sold into the sex industry.

I believe God has brought us to this community to lead Karen and I into a deeper season with him as we journey deeper into becoming our true selves and heal from our wounds that life has dealt us.

Our community is a place where everyone can contribute, where everyone’s voice is valued, where it is safe to be your true self and be authentic, where we can journey with the Holy Spirit to become all the Lord designed us to be.

Grace and Peace
Glen

Youth Pastor

Kia Ora.  My name is Zach and I am the Youth Pastor at PBC. I am Married to the lovely Rosie and have lived in the Wellington area for 8 years.

I grew up largely in Wanganui with a family that was dedicated to following Jesus in the pursuit of youth. These were obviously extremely formative years in my life and gave me many of the skills and thoughts around youth ministry that I have today. I have been a Youth Pastor for several years now and I must admit that youth is my utmost passion after Jesus, and seeing young people grow in depth of relationship with God and the church community brings me a lot of joy. I am passionate about seeing youth living lives ignited by Christ and being filled with the indwelling and overflowing Holy Spirit.

Outside of youth I am pretty nerdy, with a love for History and gaming. In particular I love computer games and board games as they often give me a chance to be more introverted.  I am extremely excited for what’s ahead for PBC Youth and looking forward to the adventure!

Children & Families Pastor

I am the Children and Families Pastor at PBC. I also work 2 days a week counselling at a high school.  I was born in Te Awakairangi, spending my childhood in Waiwhetu, and moving to Petone when I married Glen in 1998.  In my years as a primary teacher I always enjoyed finding out how children learn best and creating engaging experiences for learning. My early parenting years were spent in India, where Glen and I worked in a people-centered business called Freeset.  All of these experiences have shaped the way I work in my current role.

I am passionate about seeing people of all ages move towards a deeper connection with God, themselves, other people, and the world around them. I have a wonder-based approach to children’s ministry and I hope that my work enables children to develop a lasting spiritual framework for life. Spiritual formation for our tamariki is as important now as it has ever been, as our children face a fast-changing reality in our modern world. I love seeing families thrive, and I get a buzz out of caring for people through counselling and prayer ministry. In my spare time, I love singing, crafting and walking along Petone Beach.
